Is the Monk participation mandatory to do Soul War after update?

As we already know, with the Monk implementation, there is a new creature called Monk's Apparition. How it will work after the update? These new Monk's Apparition are mandatory to kill 25 or it is optional? Because if it's needed to have a Monk on the party, then we will be without Soul War quests for a good amount of time until players get level 400-500 with the Monk.

During the test server, it was mandatory to kill 25 Monk's Apparitions. Some players gave feedback regarding this, and while Lionet left open the possibility of adjustments being made, no changes were made during the testing phase.

It is worth noting that it is not necessary to have a Monk in the party to make a Monk's Apparition appear when attacking a Mirror Image. There is a higher chance that the Mirror Image will become the Apparition corresponding to the vocation of the character that attacked it first, but it can also become any other vocation.
