Monk Equipment – How Does Elemental Bond Work?

Question

With the new Monk update in Tibia, I’ve noticed that some equipment has Elemental Bond as an attribute. How exactly does Elemental Bond work in combat? Does it amplify certain types of damage or provide resistances?

Additionally, how is it calculated in terms of damage output?

It just changes your spell damage type as far as i noticed. Looks like its not changing the damage output but since you can use the element that monsters is weak against it may increase your damage for that monster.
