I've been struggling with my internet connection lately, experiencing random 10-second disconnects once or twice a day. To address this, I've tried using my phone's data (via USB tethering) as a backup, and it works fine for most things, but not for Tibia. When my internet switches, I get kicked out of Tibia with the message 'Game session is locked to a different IP.' Is there any way to prevent this from happening?

I know there is a proxy (ExitLag) with a feature called Multi-Internet, which allows the user to use multiple internet sources. I have never used this proxy, so I can't say if it really works. It is a paid service, but you can try it for free for a few days.

I'm wondering if this is legal too?

What? Using a proxy to play? It's not against the rules. A proxy just helps to improve the connection to the game, reducing lag.

Hi, I've played at work and at home. When Cipsoft detects that the connection is secure, they give you a little time. Make the usual changes so that they can unblock it. If they detect the change by GPS, you already know the BAN.
