So, Ive searched for that question on TibiaQA, but didn't found it.

What are the differences (percentage gains and progression) between training online and offline? Does the Modified Gnarlhound + Mad Sheep training still works? Are they gated at a specific level? I'm not entirely playing right now, but I still want to train my level 143 Elite Knight which has Sword 105 and Shielding 102 when his 12h offline training is not completely full and my 3h green stamina is not filled.

Let's say I have 12h of Offline Training, but I want a faster progression. Does training with Gnarlhounds and Mad Sheep makes me skill faster than sitting on the 12h Offline Training?

My initial idea is to hunt the 3 hours of Green Stamina and be semi-afk on the Gnarlhounds while I do another things, while also training Magic Level from time to time.

If I get tired of online training, I simply put it on offline training and that's it, but I want to know if it's possible to still train at Modified Gnarlhounds or it is not worth it anymore. If it's still worth it, the maximum level recommended to get to not kill it too fast and ending the training.

Thanks in advance.

The formula for offline training is the next one :

Knights:

There's a few pages along that you can use, such as the one on TibiaPal, Guildstatus or Tibia wiki, which allows you to determine the timeframe needed to level up a skill.

In terms of effectiveness the online training is quite faster than offline, however you need to bring into account that if you decide the usage of mad sheep + gnarhound since they are eventually from time to time killed you won't be able to regenerate stamina.
In your current level and skill the best way of approach continues to be using online train with the sword/axe/club on dummy while on double exp/skill

Yes, I understand.. I have a store dummy on my house and always use it to train on Double Skill events, but I want to skill faster, I'm not the type of guy that rush level like crazy.. to me if I could, I would train skills until 120/120 to start rushing levels, that's why I would like to know if there is a level limit to train with Modified Gnarlhounds, like a threshold that would be the limit to train there.

Here is a quick comparison for training speed for an EK melee:

Method \ SpeedupMeleeShieldingStamina
Online training with 2 attackers 100%100%const
Online training with a single sheep100%50%const
Exercise weapon (melee)720%0%depends on the place
Exercise weapon (melee) with house dummy792%0%regenerates
Offline training50%25%regenerates

As regenerating 3h of green stamina takes at least 18h, this leaves you with only 3h daily to spare on online training.

As a reminder: stamina regenerates after 10 mins of being offline or while in resting areas with 4 days of shrine streak.

Edit: as for the weapon you're a bit out of like with a sword on the Gnarlhounds, but you can invest <10k per 20h to imbue a Sword and play it like a paladin way over level 500.

Edit2: on non-pvp worlds you're likely to find people with a macro hitting space once every a while, and it will target the sheep.

What about Fire Sword? It doesn't work?

It works, it just deals quite a lot dmg compared to RPs :). And that's EXTREMELY annoying for people with a plain egg timer instead of a macro :(.

So long as you pay attention from time to time at gnarlhounds and use a low damage elemental weapon, your skills will eventually grow up. If it's a non-pvp server, player-trolls will kill the hounds from time to time

if u have money better option is using sword or shield weapon to skill on dummy. Its the fastest option to skill, second its like u did on monsters and the slowest its offline training.
