I understand the lake turns dirty once 1,000 corpses are thrown in and once 1,000 items have been fished from the lake, it reverts back to its clean state. In its dirty state, does throwing corpse in the lake increase the number of items that can be fished out and therefore extend the duration of the lake being dirty?

For example, 1,000 corpses have been thrown in the lake and it is now dirty. If I throw in an additional 100, does this mean 1,100 items can be fished out before it reverts back to its clean state?

The answer to your question is no, it's like in the case of the Bewitched World event in which we do not throw more items into the cauldron than necessary, the same after throwing 1000 corpses in the lake, we will hear from

Yawno: "Hmmmgh.... fhsh... what? WHAT? It becomes dirty! All will be dirty! Yes! That's enough! That... that surely... *yawn*... surely will attract the shimmer swimmer... but... I need to rest... at first. To be ready... when ..."

•The exact number of corpses is 1000, cumulative on server.

•The lake will become dirty after the next server save!

•Each character can fish only 1 Shimmer Swimmer every 20 hours.

•After 1000 shimmer swimmers and Fishbones are caught, though, players won't be able to fish on the lake anymore and it will become clean after next Server Save.
