Char Bazar & Maximum character in the account

Question

What happens if I purchase a character from the Char Bazaar even though my account has reached the maximum character it's allowed?

Example: I have 20 active character and 5 deleted ones = 25 (max), then I bid a character... What happens?

You actually can't bid a character if you have 20 characters on your account, and if you already have the max queue for deleted characters, you must wait until one get deleted to be able to bid on a new one.

You can’t bid another char

Every bid is factored into your maximum number of characters. For example, if you have 17 active characters in your account, you can bid on 3 characters at most, as you would have reached your maximum number of 20 active characters by then.
