Who was the first player to become a GM?

I saw a question here on TibiaQA, asking who was the first to become a GM, but they only answered with a list. Nobody really mentioned who was the first to be one.

unfortunatelly we dont have a list from that time but i beleive karl, knightmare, alatar, lost boy, and another where the first i think there was 5 in total
