Generally speaking, no. These are the current benefits of being a tutor:

  • You can show the tutor status in the character pages and the forum, along with the starts which are proportlonal to the number of TYs received.
  • You get access to a private board where CipSoft employees reply on a daily basis. There are rules for this board though, they just don't go talking about everything and the posts there should be related to the tutor functions (bugs, helping other players, etc).
  • Active tutors receive an invitation for private test servers. Nowadays most old active accounts also do, so this is hardly a benefit to be honest.

There used to be other benefits in the past, like being able to close/report threads or the exclusivity of the ability to report public statements, but this was changed a long time ago.

There have also been occasions where CipSoft gifted tutors with items and/or premium time. At least once, they gifted some tutors with some rare Ice Cream Cones. In 2011 and 2013, during official Tutor Meetings with CipSoft, they gave away Laurel Wreaths and some premium time. This was the last time they gifted tutors like this.
