Should I get the Soulbleeder or an Alicorn item first as a RP 550?

Question

I'm RP lvl 550, mostly hunt solo, and I was wondering, should I get the soulbleeder or some Alicorn Item first?

I think Alicorn Headguard looks like a good choice, since it provides a protection from all elements but I read that Bow was also a quite good improvement, but since the new alicorn items came out, What would you guys get first, (Alicorn headguard, ring or soulbleeder)?

I have falcon graves, coif, gnome armor and soul stalkers.

I mostly hunt solo at winter court, asura mirror, nagas

Taking a look at at the 3 items mentioned, the best item to choose would be the soulbleeder. The soulbleeder will help the damage output and increase the experience per hour. Once you upgrade to the soulbleeder I would upgrade to the Alicorn headguard and then ring last since they would only help with the damage taken.

As a main RP for your level I recommend to buy in this order to upgrade your set:

• Soulbleeder its around 280kk-350kk depending on server
• Alicorn Ring around 130kk-170kk
• Soulpiercer 60kk-100kk
• Alicorn Helmet 250kk-300kk
• Soulshell 80kk-120kk
• Soulstalkers 120kk-150kk
• Alicorn Quiver 160kk-200kk

This is my analysis:

1. Bow is the best item in the game. Extra crit damage, protection holy, plus attack and mitigation effect.
2. Ring extra elemental protection, ml, and skill is the best for 3 hours. It is better than using prismatic ring
3. Soulpiercer for boss damage and profit
4. Alicorn Helmet is great for elemental protection but for you that lvl on asuras palace is better to use coif
5. Soulshell armor is great on asuras. You should focus on this before the helmet if you will keep leveling on asuras
6. The other two items you can buy the order I mention. Better have 5% physical protection that extra quiver space and ml

Considering the context you gave I would encourage you to buy the Alicorn Headguard first.   

It is one of the only items in the game, alongside with the Charged Alicorn Ring, that will grant you a nice amount of holy and death protection. 

The Charged Alicorn Ring  would be the second item in line but before getting the ring I would consider buying the Gilded/Eldritch Bow . If solo hunting is your main interest you will benefit a lot from the Eldritch Bow bonus on the Holy magic level. Your Divine Caldera   will get its damage increased and when compared with the Soulbleeder  the damage/hour on hunts with creatures weak/neutral towards holy damage is very similar (some comparisons available: Gilded Eldritch Bow x Soulbleeder (Hunt Diremaw) and here: Gilded Eldritch Bow x Soulbleeder - RP 600+).

The order would be: Alicorn Headguard, Eldritch Bow, Charged Alicorn Ring and Soulbleeder.

The final decision is yours but it is nice to get info before making a decision. Hope it helps you a little bit.

The main advantage of the Soulbleeder is the added crit chance and damage, and there's no way to make up for it with other items in my opinion. It would be my first one to get.

You should check the two videos listed on my answer. Just see the numbers in the end of the videos and you might change your opinion. Remember we are discussing someone that does solo hunts. For team hunts my answer would be different.
