Can I cancel my bid on a character?

I just made a bid on character, but after that I found a better one which I would like to get. Is it possible to cancel my bid, which I made on character I don't want anymore?

It is not possible to cancel a bid you have placed for a character auction.

If you have won the auction, but you do not pay the outstanding balance for a character within 7 days, the reserved Tibia Coins (10% of the bid limit, but at least 51 TC) will be subtracted from your Tibia Coins balance and the character auction will be cancelled.

in addition, you will only receive the total amount of coins invested in that character if another player bids more than the maximum limit of the amount you bid.
