Soulhexer vs Cobra Rod

I am a 450ed~ with 112-116 mvl, 95% of times hunting in a team in various places such as feru way/dt seal/elves/asuras/sometimes ice library/issavi/

I have some money to spend and I am wondering what's better - soulhexer or cobra rod tier 2 or 3.

Hello!

Even though the +3 on cobra rod may sound great, the onslaught chance is only 1,7%. This means that you'll need approximately 2 minutes to get one proc with 60% more damage. This damage could be any kind of hit, including the rod hit, so maybe you won't get high damage.

Soulhexer, on the other hand you'll get more ML, mana leech (which is greatly needed) and ice protection, so you'll get much more stable damage. Because of that, I'd rather much more have a soulhexer than a cobra rod tier 3.

Depends on which way you hunt i'd say.
Sure the stats on a soulhexer is very nice and gives you a small bonus in mlvl and ice protection,
But Cobra rod gives a better life leech which makes its easier to play without manashield due to life leeching more with your attacks and gives you more room to use another heal on EK/RP depending on how you hunt.

Its very situational to use Hexor or Cobra rod, especially in these lower level ranges.

I personally prefer the cobra rod because of it's more life leech making me able to focus on my party and feel like skipping out a heal on myself is doable with it.
