Most of the boss loot atm is based on a participation level that once reached X amount of participation allows us to obtain loot, but in many or maybe all bosses this also sorts our chances to get important loot with a certain % increased by our participation since I think no one knows how works exactly (and also doesn't work equally for all bosses) measuring this by ourselves is a bit difficult so:

I want to know if there is any confirmation about if our loot chances triggered by boss prey/boosted is also affected by our participation level or does it comes with a "raw" chance.

For example, our participation level managed to give us a hypothetical 1% chance to loot a cobra item, but our teammate got a 2% + Scarlett Etzel is boosted so:

Boosted loot was 3% (+ half a chance to get a 1% extra) for me + 6% (+ chance of 2%) for my teammate, or on the other hand, we both will obtain an extra raw chance independent of our participation level?

I am so sorry but I am not really familiar with the bosstiary and all that I understand you get an equipment loot bonus depending on your progress level. Are you also talking about how the prey system works with the bosstiary or am I reading this wrong? https://www.tibiaqa.com/5802/how-does-the-prey-system-works-with-boosted-creatures?show=5802#q5802

im asking about how the bosstiary/prey works with participation level rewards (those who provide bag), a system that sort our chances to obtain valuable items depending not only on rng but also on how much damage we dealt (and other stuff as damage taken, some mechanics, etc), but instead of benefiting only 1 player, all we obtain something with a %, im asking if our prey works based on that %
(also im pretty sure that prey/boosted can't stack in bosstiary case)

the reason behind this question is more likely helpful to assembled-trustful team, is unworthy to roll several times per team member the prey slot, but if we know that only the higher damage dealer will be actually benefited (or the one with higher participation level) then were more worthy if all us invest into his bosstiary / prey rolls, and divide the loot rather than everyone trying to get bonus for themselves.

(imagine for example that he has a 2% to obtain bis, with 200% prey would be 6% if the prey roll cost 1k is 200k per head off a 6% daily extra, right?

now if the rest of us were trying to do the same and our extra chances were considerably lower, lets say 0.5% then
4 players were spending 1kk each for a 1% extra each daily, a total of 4% for 4kk vs a 6% for 200k, were wiser to get a trustful team and invest in 1 player rather than trying to obtain individual benefits)

btw, thx for editing my mess

I don't know exactly what the answer for this, but you have a wrong premise there: "For example, our participation level managed to give us a hypothetical 1% chance to loot a cobra item, but our teammate got a 2% + Scarlett Etzel is boosted so".

This doesn't exist. You either get enough participation for a chance of a Cobra item or you don't, there's no higher chance because of more participation.

What I don't know is what happens if you bonus but gets the low participation (the one that makes you loot nothing but a green gem on Scarlett, for example). I suppose the second roll will be of the same pool, so you'll get nothing, otherwise you could kinda cheat the system and get a full roll even with a low participation. But I haven't tested so I won't post it as an answer.

well, some players have stated that who dealts the higher damage in king zelos have notorious more chances to loot stuff than those who simply don't reach it,

https://www.tibiaqa.com/8003/how-does-the-reward-system-work-in-case-of-king-zelos?show=8003#q8003

also, im almost sure that i read that ferumbras doesn't drop 100% hat for the higher damage dealer but those who did the higher damage have chance to loot it (like doing top damage isn't enough?) something like that, yet i have no proofs of this.

i don't think it were working like "you have chance to loot something"/"you don't" otherwise loot weren't so  non-proportional between players but i have no proofs of this neither rather than personal experience.

Well, that's just not my experience. It's hard to argue that since everyone only has their own experience and CipSoft doesn't want to be transparent with the Reward System. As for the Hat: I guess you meant from the raid. Yes, it's not only about damage dealt, damage taken and probably healing done also have an effect. Since Ferumbras nowadays dies in 1-2 seconds it's usually not a big factor, but it can be if two players deal very similar damage but one of them was lucky enough to get directly hit by Ferumbras and the other didn't.

But please, do not mix up raid bosses and lever bosses. Raid bosses, especially those like Ferumbras and Gaz'haragoth, have multiple participation levels which are necessary for the unique loots. Quest bosses, in my experience, only have 2 levels which are basically "nothing" and "everything", though "nothing" usually means one or more items, like the Green Gem on Scarlett.

that's why im looking for kind of a confirmation on this matter rather than what we know until know, personal experience tell me that im not unlucky on bosses, im simply being carried and ppl who carry me is looting the stuff that i can't due my lack of participation, there are ways to prove this, but that require ppl and team and stuff that i simply haven't.

in the other hand i could be wrong and they have been lucky while i have zero luck on these bosses, but RNG isn't so inconsistent imo.

either way, if what you say is true, the whole trouble were then whether we are or aren't eligible for looting valuable stuff, if we are doesn't matter who use the prey, we all should have the same chances, if we aren't eligible only the eligible one should use it, don't u think? that would mean a raw/base % extra.
