What is the best weapon choice for knights nowadays with the elements club / axe / sword

Question

As the topic says whats the best choice nowadays with all the new element weapons? Also using shield with protection imbue feels like a must if u Gonna deal with some harder spawns but almost all swords are onehanded but has low atk? Let me know what you ppl think about this

Sorry, I'm not a Knight so I want to know what do you mean by elements? And are you saying what's the best weapon choice ultimately at this point in time or for a specific level?

Im Talking about the elemental weapons is different depending on which class u choose to play, i dont mean anything about level range since the lvl to use the different weapons varies and is not important in the question,  mostly all sword weapons such as winter blade gnome sword lion sword are one handed but they have low atk, i want to know which one is better to use to make most dmg ( sword, axe, club ) but also have the oppertunity to use a shield in some harder spawns,
