Hi!

I was doing some research on training formulae, and I came across the following table from Tibia-Wiki:

From this table, we can see that the vocation constant for Sorcerers is higher than for Druid, which means, a Druid would skill-up faster distance and melee than a Sorcerer. My question is, is this information accurate? And if so, what would be the reason for this constant difference?

All the formulae info can be found here: https://tibia.fandom.com/wiki/Formulae

Thanks! smiley

Yes, the information is correct. I can't really prove that to you, you'll have to believe me (and TibiaWiki) or do enough tests to prove them wrong. But these values match all other calculations you can do related to skills, specially related to training with Exercise Weapons and calculating the exact skill without the loyalty bonus.

It's hard to say with certainty the reasons for that, these were decisions made more than 20 years ago when the game was just being created. But one possible reason is that back then Druids didn't have any wave spells or UE, they were even more focused on being healers. Despite that, mages still only had melee/distance weapons to use, as there were no magic rods/wands, so these weapons were important for mages at lower levels. Perhaps in order to balance the lack of offensive spells CipSoft decided to allow druids to skill up faster to have a better damage at lower levels.

Tibia NEVER stops to surprise me... I would bet money that both of vocations had no difference regarding skilling up!! Thanks for the contribution.
