I very much love rares and enjoy going to see them for myself. I wonder where the Blessed Shield is in Tibia? If you could mention who owns the shield, the history of obtaining it if possible, and a picture it would be greatly appreciated!

The person who owns Blessed Shield is a player from Antica - Lost Planegazer. Fortunately for us, this player has a house and we can enjoy the look of this legendary shield. The house is located at Salvation Street in Venore.

According to the Nightmare Knights guild website, the shield was purchased from player Sheepii / Sheepyy from the Antica for a price of 3 billion gp. Below is a quote of the history of this transaction.

Ecstatic that at last his dream would come true, the old adventurer met with Sheepii in the vacant Edron depot. 3 billion was still impossible to safetrade and was more than could be posted on the market. It was agreed that they would first trade money for the white dress and silver necklace, and then trade those items for the crown, before doing the trade for the white dress and necklace again. Finally, all four items would be offered in exchange for the shield.

The deal went smoothly, and the shield was his. After 20 years of hard work the player was rewarded with not only fulfilling a dream, but also briefly owning several other incredibly rare items. Satisfied after so much time, the shield was placed for viewing in the wealthy town of Venore in the Antican house he had brought with his borrow million by Salvation street and rests there to this day. It is said that those who gaze through the open window can feel the divine protection it offers.

Who owns the Blessed Shield?

latest?cb=20050530010936&path-prefix=en&format=originalThe new owner of the Blessed Shield is a popular Brazilian Tibia Coin reseller Rei de Lutabra (also known as Rei dos Coins) on the yellow BattlEye retro open PvP world, Lutabra. This item currently can be seen in his Harbour Place 2 (Shop) in Thais. He purchased this item on the market from Nathquata (also known as Karr Chaos) for 12,000,000,000 gold in June 2022.

This is the reasoning for Karr Chaos selling the shield (more information can be seen in my Reddit source listed below)-

My journey with the shield started about 20 years ago when Lightbringer was showing it off in Thais depot. I wanted to own this crazy item for myself and began a very long journey to do so. This journey was filled with many setbacks but when Sheepii began selling the item for cash I knew that this was my chance. I liquidated everything I owned and bought the shield from him for 4 billion gold in a series of trades due to GP market cap and safetrade limits. I had envisioned keeping the shield forever at that point and have declined weekly offers from others over the years but I have always kept a price in the back of my mind, and knew I would only sell through the market.

I’ve read the comments on the video with players suggesting that I needed the money and chose to sell. This is not the case and the proceeds from this lucrative sale will go to expanding my already large trading empire. It is possible that I could have made more by doing a large public offering, but 12% TC paid to CIP is expansive (60ktc on a 500k tc trade) and there would be a high likelihood that I couldn’t have access to the money for 4 months due to receiving untransferable TC. I also had several billion in TC buy offers up for a lower price that I knew would be required to facilitate the trade, so I was well compensated here. I more then quadrupled my investment which is a very nice return I think!

Overall I am very satisfied with the trade and am happy to see another owner who was as excited to own it as I was. It is nice to see the other side of accepting a trade which is a treat I have never seen in 20 years of trading. Rares like these are meant to change hands to allow others the opportunity to fulfill their own dreams. Perhaps you too will one day own these rares? 20 years ago this felt impossible for me too, today I feel that there is very little which can’t be achieved without a firm goal and plenty of motivation. To think I was broke only 10 years ago when I returned, borrowing 2 million from my guild, and turning that into

a 20 billion GP trading empire. Tibia truly had no limits.

History of the Blessed Shield from Wiki-

The very first blessed shield on Antica was a gift from the gods to Elleshar in appreciation for her contribution to game graphics. He sold the shield to Muesli with the promise of never selling it, but he later broke it when he held an auction for it. Among the bidders were Yi, Slayn and Lightbringer.

Do you know if there is only 1 Blessed shield in game? Same one just changing hands or are there more?

I believe there's just one changing hands of different players over the years
