How do I return a Bag of Stolen Gold if there's a soft reset?

Question

So today I got a bag of stolen gold  during the Bank Robbery Mini World Change but the server I play on went down.

I've now tried to return the gold to all of the four bank NPC:s but none of them responds with the usual lines from the Mini World Change.

Am I just screwed now? Will it just disappear without me being able to return it to any NPC?

This really sucks, I really hope there is a way to solve it, otherwise it was all in vain.

I'm not 100% which is why I didn't answer but I am pretty sure the bag disappears after 24 hours. Also, if you don't turn it in before server save (or in this case server reset) you lose your opportunity.

Yes you are right the bag disappears after 24hours so it will be lost

You will probably need to wait for the world change happen again in your server to return the gold but you will need to loot another bag since it disappears
