When were blessings implemented in game?

Well I think it’s a little funny but most people who return to play the game don’t even know that blessings exist in-game so I got myself wondering when were blessings implemented?

Didn't you get blessings from giving som NPC Heaven Blossoms back in the days?
I was poor and couldn't try it, but a friend said that was how it worked.
This was back in like 2007.
Can someone confirm or refute this?

Me neither it’s kinda funny, I remember a year where every char received free blessings (all 5) but didn’t remember if there was blessing already

The first 5 and tradicional blessings were implemented on version 7.2.

Although it was implemented on this version, only on update 8.41 we got the changes that made the system similar to what we see live on today.

The PvP Blessing Twist of fate was introduced on update 8.62.

The two enhanced blessings were introduced only on update 11.30.4868.
