To my surprise, this mini boss stands out as way more dangerous one compared to the other 3 on The First Dragon Quest.

I saw a few mages and paladins running and killing it but I feel that knights got a really tough battle. I am trying to defeat it with my Elite Knight level 145 and I am considering on getting my knight at least on level 150 in order to unlock items a little bit better...

But even in terms in strategy I have no idea on what to do. The 2 DLs and Kalyassa are way too strong to hold with potions alone. I tried to hun but it proved fruitless... Running with a knight is a terrible idea but if I try to stay on Kalyassa diagonal, I eventually got blocked by the Dragon Lords.

What would be the best set, strategy and spell rotation to defeat Kalyassa and survive?

My knight is now around level 170 but I was about 150 when I killed Kalyassa with him a couple days ago. It is by a good margin the hardest miniboss to kill in my opinion and since it was my first time attending the First Dragon event I was completely clueless.

With that said I had no strategies, so all I did was attacking doing spell rotations and standing diagonally from it. I also made sure to hit the summons, including front sweep.

It's definitely doable but combos can hurt a lot, so be careful.

Good luck!

What was your spell rotation and which kind of items and imbuements you used? Used berserk potion? Might Ring? Magma amulet?

One thing that I noticed is that this miniboss got a somewhat big physical damage. I wonder if a Steel Boots and Dwarven Helmet would be a good pick

I just used a "standard" set: prismatic helmet, magic plate armor, zaoan legs, prismatic shield, guardian boots, butterfly ring and sun catcher. No imbues, no berserk potion, no special ring/amulet.

I know it just sounds like I'm trying to sound good but that's accurate.

you did the exori gran/exori/exori min/mas rotation? With or without utito? One last question: What are your skills? Thanks for answering my question :)

I don't use mas very often but correct for everything esel. No utito. And skills are 103/96.
