Is there a limit to how many containers I can have open?

Question

I would like to know if there's a limit to how many backpacks or containers I can have open in-game. If there is a limit, what error occurs? Or do the backpacks just not open anymore? I was told by someone there is a limit I just wasn't sure if it's true or not since I haven't tested it out myself.

The maximum amount of Item Containers someone can have open at the same time is 32. In this scenario, whenever a further container is opened, it will replace the last opened container.

I'm interested in this answer of yours. How did you reach it? I'd think that it would depends on the resolution of your screen and how many sidebars you can open. Didn't know that there was a straight-limit

Akuma, you can easily test it, as long as you have the space. You can reduce the game window to minimum size and add more sidebars if you need until you reach 32 containers.

I just minimised the container windows by double-clicking the top part (the place where we can see the item's sprite and name). You can also minise them by clicking on the "-" button, of course.
