How often can I obtain Gooey Mass in The Hive from Insectoid Cells?

Can you make several runs for the 16 gooey masses on the same day, or is there some kind of waiting period?

You can get Gooey Mass every 7 days from same Insectoid Cell^{. 1}  However, Gooey Mass can be also looted from : Hive Overseer, Maw and The Mean Masher. ²

If you mean "several runs" in the same day by collecting each Gooey Mass and then leaving it in depot, you can, as long as you have the access to the Hive. But each Insectoid Cell has a cooldown of 7 days when taken.

It's important to note you can also loot it from some creatures in the hive too, I usually recommend hunting -1 hive for loot, bosses, bestiary.
