Can Yetis poof if pulled away too far?

Question

I have seen people luring away Yetis for a short distance to trap, but I have never seen them being lured away around the whole Island.

Is it possible or do they poof after being lured away too far from the spawn points?

Yes it can puff, a friend pulled it too far waiting for me and others because he was afraid of the other Yeti Hunters and it just puffed, no one got nothing.

If I remember properly, he try moved it to north (Don't know exactly where) because because all (me and others) going on way and not reach folda. I gonna try find a video on youtube or something.

I gave you a downvote because your answer is misleading. Yeti could disappear because these monsters disappear after about an hour since their spawn. To be sure that it happened due to luring them away you have to be sure what time they showed up.
