How can I check if a bazaar character has collected the reward from the Soul War quest?

My friend placed his character on the bazaar and only then we realised that it does not show in the list of completed quests "Soul War" quest even though he already killed Groshnar's Megalomania and collected his reward. This can give the impression to the people that the reward is still available on this char. 

How else I could check if a bazaar character has collected the reward from the Soul War quest?

The best way is by checking the outfits- if it has Revenant(base) outfit. You will receive Revenant outfit after defeating Groshnar's Megalomania.

What was the answer to the question that was different. Yes base outfit after killing Groshnar's Megalomania does that answer the question? The question was whether it is possible to find out that the character received the item after killing Groshnar's Megalomania we have a super outfit but it is not known whether the item received or not..... Damnn....

I understand your concern, but people do the quest for the Soul equipment, why would they not pick the reward after completing it? Right now it is not possible to see if the chest was opened, only if the character still had the Soul War item on its item list, but is still not certain because they could have bought the item from another player. But every character that has the Base Revenant and killed Goshnar's Megalomania opened the chest because this was their quest goal. It would be nice if CipSoft put a special tab on Bazar which displays "Opened Chests" from difficult quests like these. But right now the only way to know if they did the quest or not is by the Outfit, since to mark it as "Completed", you need to go back and talk to the NPC, which a lot of players avoid because it's a difficult path.
