When was the automatic anti-DDoS system updated and introduced to the game?

Many of the players who had played a bit longer in Tibia, might recall famous DDoS attacks. Due to the amount of them, at the end of 2016 Cipsoft decided to implement a Death Compensation System when your character died during DDoS attacks. However, when the actual anti- DDoS system was introduced to minimalise those attacks?

The Iterim DDoS protection system with manual obtion (optional) was added on 20 January 2017 - https://www.tibia.com/news/?subtopic=newsarchive&id=3890;

DDoS protection was enabled for all players n North American and European game worlds until further notice on 02 February 2017 - https://www.tibia.com/news/?subtopic=newsarchive&id=3921.
