What amount of participation is required to obtain the "Prison Break" achievement?

The Prison Break achievement is obtained for helping to kill Gaz'haragoth. How much participation is required to obtain the achievement? Is shooting one rune or one arrow enough or do you have to do a certain amount of damage? Does the participation expire? What if I were to shoot him right after Server Save and I am still online 10 hours later when he dies. Will I still get the achievement then?

To get the achieve you need to shoot at least one rune before Gaz'haragoth dies

I see a lot of people shooting runes there to get loot so if you are online or not it will count

So you can shoot one rune then whenever the boss dies you will get the achievement no matter how much time has passed?

You won’t receive it if the boss don’t die in that day but you can shoot a rune when it spawns and wait for the other people jn the server kill it

Have you tested this yourself? I know there is a certain amount of time after you attack a creature that if you don't do damage you won't get credit for the kill. Does that not prevent unlocking this achievement?
