Can participating in polls from various accounts be considered "cheating"?

If i'm not wrong every month a new Poll is published on Tibia.com and can only participe 1 time per account. I wanna know if can it be considered "cheating" voting from different accounts on those Polls?

For example; I created some accounts to farm Blood Herbs for my house, If I vote from those accounts Can it be considered "cheating"?

You can vote in the poll using as many account as you want and as long as you are the owner of these accounts I don't see any problem. There is no rule that one person has to own only one account.

If we would counsider it as cheating what about farming Santa gifts? Is it okay, that one person take a gift with only one character while other person has 10 accounts?

Popular ways of cheating recently is plagiarism or when you send a work, which is done by somebody else... or finally if you use multiple accounts while rules states that it's forbidden and only one entry per player. But all these cases are rather about contests organised by fansites.

In Theory - no is not cheating. Simple fact that you might be living in share house, or with brothers sister etc who also play Tibia and use same IP/computer is just example.

In practise- if you have or have access to several accounts and use them by yourself to participate in a pool for certain ( most of the time personal) gain makes you a cheater...

It is up to you how you feel about it:)

I would lean towards this would be frowned upon. As someone else said that in theory it wouldn't technically be cheating. I doubt CIP would allow it if they knew. This could possibly fall under Rule 3a "Exploiting obvious errors of any other part of CipSoft's services". One person being able to give themselves 100 chances to win a prize where mostly people only get 1 chance seems like an obvious error to me.

Well the "error" could be allowing the same IP to submit 100 times to a poll. As I said, technically, I don't think against the rules. If you told CIP that you used 100 accounts to participate in a poll to better your chance and getting a reward I doubt they would let it slide.

Yes and no, because is supposed that every account have the right to participe and there isn't any rule that says a person should have a max amount of accounts, right?
