Does the ice cube altar and the picks appear with Zushuka?

I am checking Zushuka, but I have this doubt: When the boss appears, the picks at the stone altar and the ice cube altars appears with her or you need to do something? This way, if the altars and the picks are there it means that the boss is there?

The picks  and the ice cubes appears when you deal some damage on immortal version of Zushuka. So if you meet the boss there is nothing more on this place, except the boss itself. You won't find any additional monsters nor any additional objects.

But! When you see picks and the ice cubes it means that someone has dealt the damage to Zushuka and she already is somewhere in the cave.

As you can see on the picture below, when I killed Zushuka there are no picks anymore.

So you will see it only during her immortal stage and probably at the beggining when blue-haired moral version appears:

Thanks for your answer! One more thing: you need to attack the boss to make the picks appear every time? Or once they appear for the first time they keep appearing?

You need to attack and deal some dmg to the boss to start the mechanics works. If the picks appear for the first time, you can even lure away immortal version of Zushuka and it will keep appear until you destroy all the ice cubes :)
