It is currently not possible to imbue a Royal Helmet with magic level. This hasn't been possible since Sep 12 2017 - Fixes and Changes And I quote, "The epiphany imbuement (magic level) can no longer be added to royal helmets since it is intended for druid and sorcerer exclusive headgear." This also received an official response on the forums 11.08.2017: Summer Update 2017 "It is not intended that the royal helmet can be imbued with additional magic levels. This will be fixed at a later point in time."

I haven't seen players selling this item recently but seeing as this isn't obtainable anymore and it's also been a couple of years I'd suggest this is a collector's item rather than an item you would want to use. Not a lot of people collect unusual things like this, so to estimate it's hard to do. I went through the forums and found some threads. But I'd suggest anywhere from 15kk-35kk just based on current and past market prices and increased TC prices.

As you can see, no one appears to be offering on the helmet and I wasn't able to find anyone actively trying to purchase the helmet. I really don't see how this helmet would be worth 5kk like someone was trying to sell it for a year ago but this is up to the buyer. When it comes to collector's items, the worth and price is up to you and also change on a daily basis. I hope I helped some...

I would suggest using other items to increase your Knights magic level:

  • Tropical Marinated Tiger It grants +3 Magic Level for one hour when eaten. (From cook skilled Hireling)
  • Tropical Fried Terrorbird It will boost your Magic Level by 5 for one hour. (From Hot Cuisine)
  • Demonic Candy Ball If the effect is granted, it Increases your magic level by 3 for an hour. (From Hot Cuisine)
  • Falcon Coif  (Arm:10, distance fighting +2, shielding +2, protection physical +3%, fire +10%).
Imbuements: (Empty Slot, Empty Slot). It can only be wielded properly by knights and paladins of level 300 or higher. According to Wiki: "This is the only helmet that can be worn by Knights which can be imbued with up to Tier 2 Epiphany (Magic Level boost) imbuements."

Thanks man, very thorough explanation!

I was wondering because I was thinking of solo:ing Dream Warden on my 170ek with ml 9 and because ml 10 is required for using E-bombs I needed to boost my ml, which are essential for solo:ing this quest.
I did it a couple of weeks ago now and like you mentioned I went with Tropical Fried Terrorbird.
It worked very well throughout the whole quest EXCEPT for the mend what's broken part where there's Silencers nearby almost all of the quest faces since they lower the ml.
