Who was Elgar, what was his purpose, what is his story, anyone got a print from when he was alive?

You see a dead Elgar.
i saw this dead dwarf transfering on travora bout on a small island and wonderer what about him, a friend of mine told me that he used to be a banker on a small island but now its under water.

Yes, Elgar was a npc at the old Travora island that was implemented 2009. Elgars worked as a banker and mailman all in one. He was used to access your bank account and withdraw/transfers gold to other players. And mailman if you wanted to send stuff to someone or send away items that you couldn't bring with you to the new wordd.

But as of the update of character transfers back in 2015 he was no longer needed, they even remapped the island Travora and made up a story about how the Travora got smaller by the rising sea, thus he got swallowed by the sea and drowned. Later he was washed up on the shore and can now be seen from the boat on the new Travora.

Indeed, but I like how they still keep him in the game even if he is dead. As a reminder of the old Travora.
