Hello,

As many have asked themselves, what's better? Prey or Boost?... Perhaps Prey is better because it's 2 hours, anyways, that's not the question.

My question is, using both of them simultaneously is worth it?
If I'm with Green Stamina (150%) + Boost (Total: 225%) and i add XP Prey to that, what's what actual % i gain? What's the formula or how do i know the final exp I am to expect?

So i could know... Is it worth it or should i keep it at one only?

P.S.

I plan on going to Ravenous Lava Lurkers.

Good question! Any bonus you use to increase your experience gain is based on the base experience value provided by the monster, this means that when using an XP prey with or without boost the additional gain of experiencie provided by the prey will be the same.

For example (considering green stamnia 150%):

If a monster give you 1000 points of experience, with boost an prey of XP 10 stars (40%) we have:

(1000 * 2,25) + (1000 * 0,4) = 2650 points of experience

Only with prey we have:

(1000 * 1,5) + (1000 * 0,40) = 1900 points of experience

One consequence of this is that during Double events, Damage Preys are a strictly better choice than Exp Preys. The extra damage translates to faster kills and more creature kills per hour, producing more exp which scales along with the Double event. A teamhunt where the whole team has Damage Preys produces more total exp than a teamhunt where everyone uses Exp Preys instead.

Dude if you can i would tell you to put both of them on.. its really worth it.. your waste is going to be bigger but if you don't have a lot of time to play it really helps you to grow up faster. Xp prays gives 40% more of the exp of the monsters.
