If I change my character's name what is the chance of players finding my previous nickname?

What happen if I change my nickname? There still will be some chances to find my character by using previous nickname and keep hunting me?

What's the typical cost of "buyback" after some guild wars?

Do you mean - What's the typical buyback after a guild war to buy your nickname back or to stop being hunted? Or  What are the chances they'll see your name has changed and hunt you again? These are kinda different questions is a way.

When you change your char nickname your old name will be listed at your char past name for 6 months so yes they can found your char with your previous nickname even after changing

No, when you change your char name its listed in your characters information for 6 months, always. When you delete a character however the name can be unavailable for months, or even years.

If players have added their character to their VIP even with the name change, their VIP list will be updated anyway.
