I know next week we'll have the lot event, but I have a doubt about how it works.
Items will drop 2x easier (for example, if a chance to loot is 30% now the chance will be 60%) or items will loot double (if I would get 1 item regularly I'll get 2 of them during event)?

The way it works is that when a creature dies it rolls on the drop table twice, thus doubling your chance of getting an item. Essentially every creature you kill during the event is like killing 2 outside of it. So 10% drop chance becomes 20%.

This can result in you getting the same item twice in one kill. Eg. 2 knight armor from a giant spider or 2 dragon shield from a dragon

Oh sure!! So it means when you kill a creature that has a 100% drop, it will be double?

Yup, if a creature normally has a 100% drop rate it should drop 2 if the item
