Is it still worth it to buy gnome legs?

For me, the better benefit of having a pair of gnome legs was the +2 ml they give, but right now there are a new set of much cheaper and easier to get legs, Soulful Legs, and I wonder if its really worth it to have gnome legs, what are the benefits over Soulful legs?

The Gnome Legs :

• PROS: 
  • +2 ML VS +1 ML on Soulful Legs
  • Much more versatile elemental defense, Energy, useful in most "mainstream" respawns, such as Falcons, Energy Library, Prison, Ferumbras' Ascendant (vexclaw energy bomb).
• CONS:
  • Extremely expensive, ~70kk
  • Side effect: Increases damage taken by Ice in 2%

The Soulful Legs :i

• PROS:
  • Much cheaper than Gnome Legs, ~1kk
  • No side effect on any other element 
• CONS:
  • Not many respawns have Holy damage, and in those that do have, the energy damage is much higher, such as in Falcons and Energy Library

My conclusion, the Gnome Legs is superior, theres no doubt in that, BUT unless you are really rich, I'd stick with the soulful legs. It is good enough. Is a good option vs Gill Legs (since gill legs increases damage taken by fire).

The real gain when using a Gnome Legs is the extra magic level. But, by the price difference, you could get +5 ML using training rods. I'd leave it as a last upgrade on the set.

I would just add that the Gnome Legs is worth its price after the mage has around Magic Level 110. At this ML you'll need around the same or slightly less gold to get one magic level (depending on your loyalty and the Legs price), with the obvious advantage of being able to sell the Gnome Legs at any time if you need/want to, as well as the Energy Protection which is useful on many respawns, as you mentioned.

I would say to you  don't buy YET. With the recent changes the amount of money in game will decrease a lot, probably the items value will follow the same way, I think the best options right now is to wait at least 1 month to see how the market will be affected.

Maybe you should buy Soulful legs now, while you see the market progress.
