Can characters get set back rather than deleted?

I've heard of a rumor characters can get set back or go back to Rookgaard from Main or can lose gained levels. I don't know if this happens still today but I heard this rumor a while back. Is there any proof that Cipsoft sets characters back for punishment? I'm not talking about if a server gets reset. I'm talking on an individual basis.

The only similar sitiation I'm aware of was:

When one server got launched (i cant rememer which), there was a house bug and only 2-3 player could get a house on the 7th day (i believe it was a server reset).

That meant that only 2 or 3 players had a house for a week. They were able to sell potions using casks and profit an absurd amount of tibia coins, like dozens of thousands.

Cipsoft didn't reset the server again but they removed all the tibia coins and the items bought during that period.

There was a big controversial reaction on forums, because the players weren't actually abusing any bugs. So many thought cipsoft was punishing players for their own mistakes...

So yes... Players can get a roll back but its highly unlikely
