Can you get a leech from doing daily tasks or quests?

Question

A leech can be used to tame a Water Buffalo mount. My question is it true you can get it from quests or daily tasks? I don't see any proof so I want to know if this is a known way to get it or just fake:

It can be obtained through swamp digging. Players also reported to have obtained the Leech by doing the new daily tasks. It may be a possible reward of the Venore Daily Tasks Quest or the Goblin Merchant Quest.

I guess only way to get leech is dig by shovel mud in special sqm once per week. >.<

While here, consider going off the northern ramp at the construction site and do the respective Pathfinder objective. Also, if you haven't tried in the last 7 days, consider attempting to dig for a Leech (swamp tile, here).

as I remember, you don't have to take a task to do it, but you can only try to fish it out once a week.

i know about the digging its just my question was moreso about daily tasks or quests because rumor is you can get it from daily tasks or quests thank you for your response though

No you can’t obtain it in daily quests only by digging the special mud spot in venore
