How do I gain access to kill Ferumbras?

So Ferumbras spawned today in Pacera and I realized I wasn't prepared as it was my first time trying to go see him. I didn't even make it to his citadel. What quests and tools do I need? Is there a guide anywhere out there for this because when I'm in a rush I don't do so well.

Once you have done the access, I'd say the easier way to go to Ferumbras Citadel is using a Boots of Homecoming

 You see boots of homecoming (Arm:2).

It can only be wielded properly by players of level 100 or higher.

It weighs 16.00 oz.

They are made of dark red buckskin and the golden clasps look like the letter F.

It cost around 100-200k at my server, once used inside of a Protection Zone, they will teleport you in front of the Ferumbras Citadel and the text will appear:

"Magical sparks whirl around the boots and suddenly you are somewhere else."

Note: These boots have a 24 hour cooldown and cannot be verified by looking at them. Only way to verify them is putting them in depot and looking on them at the market, seeing as only a pair with charges can be sold via the market

You can say once you make the quests a good way to access the island would be to get these boots. But my thing is do you still need to pay zoltan the 500 gps?

To make access you have to make:

1. Forbidden Islands Quest 

2.Voodoo Master Quest 

3. Eleonore Quest to make  Voodoo Master Quest

The tower was sealed off by the Edron magic academy. To access the tower, talk to NPC Zoltan in Edron and ask for "permission". He will let you enter by paying 500 gps (note that if you paid once and entered there, you have to pay again).

Well, not exactly. You need 1 White Mushroom 1 Brown Mushroom 1 Green Mushroom 1 Dark Mushroom to make access to Talahu (Hydra Island).
