Can a shimmer ball float in a bath tub?

Question

I want to know if anyone has bought a bath tub and put a shimmer ball inside of it? If you did, did it work but after a while does the water evaporate from the bath tub? Please let me know. I'm highly considering getting one :) If it doesn't work, let me know.

I tried to put Shimmer Ball  inside Bath Tub but unfortunately it doesn't work. Shimmer Ball can't float in a bath tub.
