I want to make with my friend 670 ek ( I am 665 ed) bestiary on True Dawnfire Asura, True Frost Flower Asura and True Midnight Asura.

What is the best protection eq for us to make it?

It would be very nice if someone who already did it could share a map with the best way to hunt there.

At True Asuras you wanna focus on FIRE / DEATH resistance but not as much as to let ML go down too much, because they will wreck the EK. Below you can find the set me and my druid uses when hunting there.

For an EK:

  • Gnome Sword with Critial and Mana imbued
  • Falcon Escutcheon with Death Resist imbued
  • Falcon Plate with Fire Resist Imbued
  • Falcon Coif with Mana and Skills Imbued
  • Falcon Greaves
  • Red Plasma Amulet
  • Dwarven Ring
  • Depth Calcei / Cobra Boots
  • Starlight Vial

Note that the druid should keep an eye on EKs mana and pot him after every pull, if he is below half mana.

For a Druid:

  • Umbral Master Spellbook with Death Resist imbued
  • Firemind Raidment
  • Falcon Circlet with Mana and ML imbued
  • Cobra Rod (at your level you can hunt on HP, and then Cobra rod is much superior)
  • Moon Mirror
  • Pair of Dreamwalkers (better than nightmare boots due to Earth wave from Hellhound)
  • Gnome Legs (Imo the fire resist from magma legs is not worth the 2 ML)
  • Theurgic Amulet (I rather have this one, because the rainbow will make the druid get hit harder by the Frost Flowers, and they are often on the mage)
  • Plasma Ring

ROUTE:

For the route, I'm always staying at entrances of room, so with 1 Magic Wall   I can close the corridor and the druid will be safe (corridors are 4 SQM, so we will have 3 SQM with monsters on EK and the extra SQM will be with Magic Wall), like this (made an example at normal asuras):

Look that there is no way a creature from inside the room can retarget to a druid in the corridor, IMO at lower levels this is specially important, because they hit HARD.

My route there is based on 9 pulls, which I marked in the map below. I tried to mark it in the exact spot I stand. Hope it helps

  1. Needs to be done inside the corridor because there are 2 True Asuras there, and if they aren't killed, they will screw the next pull.
  2. EK runs into room and come back to corridor entrance, throws a MAGIC WALL so creatures will not go inside the corridor, druid stays in corridor. There are 3 Frost Flowers inside the room, so its important the druid stays in corridor, otherwise they would wreck him.
  3. EK runs to room and magic wall, Druid comes behind and bring whatever was left behind, then cross the magic wall and stays inside room.
  4. EK runs ahead, druid should wait a few seconds, because EK will have to lure 2 True Asuras from the corridor to inside the room, if the druid comes too early, they will retarget.
  5. This is the pull I hate the most, the upper floor blocks the view a lot, easiest way is to druid wait a few seconds, so EK  can exeta res.
  6. Ek lures from left corner, comes back a little bit and Mwall in case something retargets to druid
  7. EK runs into room, lures creatures from north and comes back to entrance of the room, where druid waits in corridor, Mwall to keep druid safe
  8. There no spot to keep druid 100% safe here, EK runs first and druid wait a few seconds to go
  9. Ive seen people make this pull inside the "cave" but that can be very dangerous at 600. I rather have the ek go in a little bit, a lure them out, then he can mwall the corridor and kill while druid is safe at his north.
