What is the best set for hunting tunnel tyrants and cave devourers (WZ5) with magician (ED or MS)?

Sometimes I do this hunt without much notion of what the right equipment should be to do as much damage as possible and receive as little as possible. Some information on what imbuements to use in the equipment would also be helpful.

Hmmm... Is good do with full physical-death set imbued with Energy and Fire protection as well.

Set (Imbuements):

 Mage Hat (Imbuements: Mana Leech Level 3 and Magic Level Level 3)

 Earthmind Raiment

 Gill Legs

 Pairs of Dream Walkers or  Terra Boots

 Umbral Master Spell Book or  Brain in a Jar or  Shoulder Plate

 Butterfly Ring

 Enchated Theurgic Amulet or  Gill Necklace

 Rod of Destruction or  Wand of Destruction (Imbuements: Critical Chance Level 3 and Mana Leech Level 3)

Monsters:

 High Voltage Elemental, is easy monster to kill so you dont think to much on it.

 Cave Devourer, have 4/7 Earth Elemental attacks.

 Tunnel Tyrant, have 1/5 Earth Elemental attack.

So the set is focus on get protection from distance attacks (Majority Earth Elemental) and Magic Level to deal more damage and kill more faster, all because you need run away from the creatures.
