What was the reward for Mercenary Guild for being one of the oldest guilds in Tibia?

I heard some stories about the Mercenary Guild, that they got from cipsoft some item like Red Rose guild got Rose Shield for being one of the oldest guilds. Also I heard rumours that this guild lost this item.

Does anyone know more information about this history? What was the name of this item and why they lost it?

If I remember well when they lost this item Cipsoft changed it into Eagle shield. But im not 100% sure

You are right, the Mercenary Shield  was given to the Mercenary Guild in antica, but after a few updates it was replaced by the shield known today as the Griffin Shield . The reasoning for this is unknown to me.

I think they changed first design of shield because it was too personalized.
