Does "The Traveling Trader Quest" have to be completed in seven consecutive days?

As the title asks, does "The Traveling Trader Quest" have to be completed in seven consecutive days?

For instance, if I start the quest on Monday and on the following Tuesday I forget to do the part to be done on that day, do I have to redo the part of the quest to be done on Monday the next time I try to complete the quest? Or in other words, do I have to start the quest all over again?

Nop , you can start one week and continue the next one or any week , just need to follow the days on each mission:

Example 

Week 1 : Monday mission ,and Tuesday mission
Week 2: Wednesday mission.
