Why on sewers of the city they kill each other?

 Priestess Of The Wild Sun, Black Sphinx Acolyte and Burning Gladiator. They all are followers of  Fafnar and want destroy the city.

In opposition  and his followers  Crypt Warden and  Sphinx fight against the cultish of Fafnar to save the city.

KILMARESH’S INHABITANTS AGAINST FAFNAR CULTISTS

To understand this conflict we have to know the history of Kilmaresh.

Inhabitants of this old empire worshipped two sun gods – Suon and Fafnar. The worship of both deities was always in balance. As time passed, Fafnar worshipers bacame more influential and agressively tried to destroy the balance. It started a civil war between Fafnar followers and the rest, who wanted duality of the two sun gods. The war the was ended by Suon himself by splitting off the eastern peninsula from western part of the landmass. Now it is known as Suon’s Wrath.

Nowadays Anuma have the control of Kilmaresh, but still deep under the city among the Issavi sewers and far away from the city a lot of Fafnar Cultists hiding and corrupting other creatures.

Sphinx Empress  freed numerous of enslaved Ogres  lived on Kilmaresh and took most of them to Krailos. A single tribe still lives north of the ruined city Nuur and fight with Fafnar Cultists in the name of loyality.

Yet, I do sense it as well. Evil is slowly eating its way into the life and soul of Kilmaresh. So my time is short for my help is needed direly here. At this very moment, I'm trying to gather evidence to unmask a traitor who's consorting with the forbidden cult of Fafnar. Those cultists have turned into a real threat. They are corrupting the hearts of more and more living creatures here.

Alas, there came a time when a group of Fafnar's adherers became more and more influential and aggressive until they postulated the sole worship of Fafnar. This resulted in a civil war between the Fafnar followers and those who fought for the duality of the two sun gods. Ultimately, the war was ended by Suon himself. He split off the eastern peninsula from the western part of the landmass by a strait, destroying the former capital Nuur. This event has been known as Suon's Wrath ever since.
