Why won't he buy them from me?
Yasir will only buy those items from you once you have completed the quest that allows you to sell them to Esrik. You will need to complete The New Frontier quest and hand in at least 9 tomes of knowledge to be able to trade these items to Esrik. After you have done so, Yasir will also buy those items from you.
