I'm trying to figure out if the "raid" mechanic in Folda is affected by yetis spawning in Chyllfroest.

  • In other words, if yetis spawn in Chyllfroest first, will the Folda spawn be on "cooldown" until they spawn again there?
  • Should we treat these as 2 separate spawns, meaning that they can appear on both places? cool
  • What do you think about the cooldown on Chyllfroest? Is it the same time period as the raid in Folda? Do the yetis spawning in Chyllfroest only appear once every 20 days since they were last killed in this new island?

Thank you in advance!

I will leave your additional questions for now but I recommend you create a separate question for multiple questions. For example, Do the yetis spawning in Chyllfroest only appear once every 20 days since they were last killed in this new island? Seems different than your main question.

Every spawn have their own cooldowns and its dont have any relationship between both.

Both spots can have Yeti even on same time, they are completely different spawns/cooldowns, same applies to Albino Dragons, Tyrn, Rotworm Queen, White Pale, Crustacea Titanica, Hirintor, etc..

Thank you both, Trululu and teganig! However, I have an additional inquiry:

What do you think about the cooldown on Chyllfroest? Is it the same time period as the raid in Folda? In other words, do the yetis spawning in Chyllfroest only appear once every 20 days since they were last killed in this new island?

Cloudy memory- Please remember instead of posting this as an answer to post as a comment. I moved it as a comment for you. If it doesn't answer the question itself always just leave the feedback as a comment. Great questions though!

No, the Yeti raid in Chyllfroest is unrelated to the Yeti raid in Folda, they have separate time windows which don't interfere with each other, as shown in data of Yetis killed 2 days in a row.

Yes, you should treat them as two separate spawns and, if you're trying to find a Yeti you should keep looking on both spawns.

It's difficult to ascertain the exact window on the Chyllfroest spawn, since you have no way of knowing in which spawn a Yeti died last unless you have killed him yourself or know who did, kind of like it happens with Crustacea Gigantica, Albino Dragon, Rotworm Queen, among others.. My advice is to keep checking on both spawns until event is over.

Good luck and happy hunting!
