Usually new updates come with some sets of books, parchment and pages about the history of creatures or even about the missions to be carried out, I'm curious if there is information within the game in some library or place on the map.

There is currently no book that references the history of Azzilon Castle and the Inferniach creatures. During the quest No Rest for the Wicked you can get some glimpses of the tragic history of the place and the civilization that was decimated by these creatures. In the quest you meet Lai, a citizen of the Monk tribe who introduces you to a bit of the history of the place. At a certain point in the quest you talk to the NPC "A Vision of the Past" who gives you a more detailed history of the creatures that fought against the Inferniachs and of the castle itself. He is not humanoid, he is part of an ancient race created by the Gods to seed the world and protect it, becoming the guardians and champions in the wars against evil. However, in Azzilon the story had a tragic end. According to "A Vision of the Past", Azzilon was primarily the stronghold of these guardians, but the Inferniachs created portals of fire in the rocks and opened a path to the bowels of the fortress, launching a powerful attack with their numerous creatures and siege weapons. For a brief moment, the guardians believed they had a chance, but when the powerful Rotrender appeared, they succumbed, thus becoming the scourge of Azzilon. There was a last battle where the guardians managed to attract and imprison the powerful Rotrender in a cave, and by merging with earth and rock, they imprisoned him, but the damage was already too great to be reversed, and so Azzilon remained forgotten and dominating the world for which the guardians fought so hard and succumbed. Since Lai is part of the Merudris tribe, perhaps with the addition of the Monks' Island there will be a library that will present us with more clues about this incredible story in the future.
