How can I get another Ring of Secret Thoughts Charged in the Kilmaresh Quest?

Someone bought a char and wanted to continue the Kilmaresh quest but the char didn't had the Ring of Secret Thoughts (Charged) and the mission where the ape stole the ring is complete, how we can get another ring charged with the memories of the Ambassador?

My friend had the same problem. He said he tried to recharge the ring, but he couldn't. He used several keywords and none of them worked. The only way he found to continue the quest was to borrow the ring from someone else.
