To fully understand what additional features have been inplemented in „The wheel of destiny” let me quickly introduce that tool first.
It was introduced to our Tibia community in Winter Update 2022, version 13.10.12852.
Its main purpose is to upgrade every players abilities and skills, depending on their vocations, gameplay and preferences – different stats will be increased for knights, paladins, sorcerers and druids.
As I wrote above, each player has different gameplay, hunts solo or in team and will find usefull different bonuses. That means that I won’t tell you which configurations for each vocation is the best because it’s impossible with that many variations. My main goal is to show mechanics of mentioned Wheel of Destiny.
Every player receives 1 promotion point (PP) per gained level (but starting from level 51).
It means you will have 50 PP to spend on level 100, 350 PP on level 400 etc..
All gained PP you can spend in wheel of destiny in any place on Tibia map, but if you want to reset the wheel and change configuration of bonuses, for that purpose you must enter Temple. Important thing is that this feature is totally free to use!
In the wheel you can find and develope 3 kinds of Perks – Dedication Perks, Conviction Perks, Revelation Perks.
Dedication Perks – they are most basic perks in the wheel and they don’t require many points to unlock (just 50 PP). They slightly increase simple char statistics like HP or mana.
Conviction Perks – they are definately more powerful than Dedication Perks, they upgrade base statistics of spells, improve passive stats for every vocation separately and also grant elemental resistances. To fully unlock one quarter you will need to spend XXX PP.
Revelation Perks – they are the most powerful of perks. By unlocking them you are gaining access to new spells, receive very powerful passive stats. The funny thing is that you don’t spend points to unlock them! Revelation Perks unlock automatically when you spend enough PP in one of sections. There i salso other fun fact about them. Revelation Perks have 3 stages of upgrade. First stage you will receive after spending 250 PP, second stage will be unlocked after spending 500 PP and the final third will be unlocked after spending 1000 PP in one specific quarter.
Long story short:
The higher level you have, the more points you can spend for bonusses. If you want to receive extra abilities first you have to spend promotion points PP in the middle of Wheel – section of Dedication Perks. After you reach maximum points of this position (total 50 PP), you will unlock the next section – Conviction Perks. The further you go to outer rim and more PP you will spend, the more powerful abilities you will unlock. You must be aware that you will unlock area which is stuck to Dedication Perk quarter that you unlocked! After you wisely spend 250 PP in Dedication and Conviction Perks IN ONE QUARTER, you will automatically unlock the Revelation Perk (level 1). To unlock level 2 and 3 of Revelation Perk you need to spend respectively 500 PP and 1000 PP in the same quarter of Wheel.
In July’s 23 summer update 13.20.13560 implemented 3 extra features to Wheel Of Destiny.
The first one makes it possible to save settings in the Wheel and lets you switch between presets in any moment that you want. Up to this moment, you were supposed to visit temple to reset all the spent points and proceed to manage it other way. Right now you can save them under your custom name and quickly switch it in Temple during some refils. Also what is very innovative, you can import and export the presets and quickly share it with your friends or pass to your another characters!
The second feature is Tibia’s official online planner tool. It allows players to plan their future moves and shows how will their abilities change in future. This could be especially useful for people who have on mind buying charater from Char Bazar. What is important – just like in upper case, you will also have an option to export settings and implement them in game or share with friends!
The third one is implemented strictly in game as new items - Promotion Scrolls. Using them works like advancing with levels, it means that they give you additional PP. The maximum amount of additional promotion points you can gain is limited to 50 PP. There are 5 types of Promotion Scrolls which give different amount of points (you can use each only 1 time):
Abridged Promotion Scroll 3 points
Basic Promotion Scroll Basic 5 points
Revised Promotion Scroll 9 points
Extended Promotion Scroll 13 points
Advanced Promotion Scroll 20 points
All of these scrolls can be looted only from one Boss for this day – Bakragore from the newest Rotten Blood Quest. Although scrolls can be traded between the players so even low level players are able to use them.
