Was Variphor responsible for Bakragore invading the Tibian world?

Could Bakragore be some kind of Variphor minion? He drops this phrase during the fight:

"Blood ... will ... be ... mine!!Revenge! Rise! Revive!World... to... devour!"

If this is a reference to the World Devourer (who is a minion of Variphor) what would be the connection between them?

I didn't find any literate information about a link between Bakragore and Variphor besides a probable phrase that the boss utters during the fight and some visual references that may or may not have something related.

We're told by Cipsoft that Bakragore is the root of the rotten evil that has contaminated the once holy halls of the Blood God's temple but we don't have much information beyond that. Bakragore unites two elemental base types.

One of them is related to fungi and the other some kind of creatures that seem to have come from another dimension. The Converter creature for example is literally a Breach Brood in "blood color".

So beyond the visual references and assumptions we cannot 100% claim that there is a connection between Bakragore and Variphor.

I did some research on this since it's a topic I like and from what I've found so far Bakragore doesn't seem to have any direct connection to Variphor lore. I suppose the most likely thing was that a sliver of the blood god's power fused with Bakragore and this spawned his immense power ever since and that of his spawn as well. I think it's more likely that a continuation of the Variphor lore has something to do with Godbreaker and the Secret Library and should be a theme for Cipsoft to create a new end-game Quest in about 02 years who knows.
