How to use haunted nexus portals?

Question

There are energy portals at haunted nexus (venore, darashia, port hope), i've completed the quest already. So I don't know what do I have to do to use them, it says that: "Only ghost seem to be accepted by the portal. A bit of green ectoplasm should do the trick."

Ive collected some ectoplasm with the strange bucket but it doesn't seem to work, I was able to use the portal once, but it seem to be random ._. or i did something but i don't know what it was.

If you want use these teleports you need specific item that spectres drop.
Blue Ectoplasm  that can be dropped from Burster Spectre 

Green Ectoplasm that can be dropped from Ripper Spectre 

Red Ectoplasm that can be dropped from Gazer Spectre 

You need to have this ectoplasm to travel to from one spectre spot to second.

I would like to add that every of this ectoplasm disappear after 10 minutes.
