Can I accumulate opportunities to kill Horestis?

People often choose to kill Horestis until the Double Loot Event. However, I'd like to ensure that I can "collect" these broken vases for an extended period and that no other event/situation in the meantime will reset this boss entry counter. Hence my questions:

Can I accumulate broken vases/entries to Horestis for a longer time?

Are there any limits or restrictions on this?

Yes, you can accumulate broken vases and kill many horestis during the double loot event. I did it with 3 horestis in a row (Keep the vases during like 2 years).
