What conditions are necessary to trigger the Gift of Life cooldown?

Hello again.

I have a question about gift of life. To reduce cooldown I have to be online and only have battle signs? I don't have to gain experience?

Also, how to check exactly what is my Gift of Life cooldown? I know I can add it to action bar but there is only info that I have 19h cd. What if I want to know exactly how many minutes / sec?

Gift of Life cooldown was adjusted recently: Gift of Life cooldown starts now only outside a Protection Zone. You don't have to be gaining XP to reduce cooldown.

Your second question: What if I want to know exactly how many minutes / sec?

I don't know if the screen size affects the action bar button size but, in my screen I see the cooldown like (9h50). I can't see the "m" for minutes and obviously I can't see the seconds but as I said, I don't know if this is affected by the size of my screen. 

The only to way to know the cooldown is, as you mentioned, adding it to your action bar, so I think you will be able to see the minutes once the cooldown has less than 10 hours, then you will see 9h50.

In addition to what Liten Question mentioned, you also need to have your wheel set to Gift of Life to trigger the cooldown. You can't switch it to another revelation perk during and trigger the cooldown for Gift of Life at the same time. I tested this during a 2 hour hunt where I used Beam Mastery and the cooldown for Gift of Life didn't change at all.
